The Heritage Cycle: What Flock 3's Arrival Means for Your Dinner Table
On a diversified family farm, one new beginning usually means another project is reaching maturity. With Flock 3 safely in the brooder, Flock 1 is officially preparing for processing.
Our Rustic Ranger broilers are raised the traditional way. Unlike conventional industrial chickens that are rushed to market in a matter of weeks, our heritage birds grow at a slower, more natural pace. They spend their days out on our fresh coastal pastures here in Belliveau Cove, foraging in the grass and soaking up the fresh St. Mary's Bay air.
This traditional, pasture-raised lifestyle results in two things:

How to Secure Fresh, Never-Frozen Chicken
Because we limit our production to protect our pastures and maintain the highest animal welfare standards, our Legacy Cuts chicken sells out quickly every single year.
When Flock 1 returns from the processor this month, it will briefly be available as fresh, never-frozen whole birds. This is the ultimate farm-to-table experience. Once that short window closes, the remaining inventory will move straight into cold storage for our frozen stock.
